Hello and welcome!

My name is Melissa, and together with my husband, we're so happy to have you here at Melissa Aubee.

Ever since I was little, I've dreamed of having a stationery shop of my own. I'd spend ages choosing the perfect pen, the prettiest notebook, or a card that felt just right for someone I loved. Even then, I think I knew those little things held something special.

Life took me in a different direction for a while. Like many people, I spent years doing office work, surrounded by screens, emails and endless typing. Somewhere along the way, I realised what I missed most is the warmth of something written on paper. A handwritten card, a note tucked into a gift, a few words someone took the time to write just for you. In a digital world that moves so fast, those small moments feel more personal than ever.

That's really why I started this stationery shop. I want my friends and the people I love to have something lovely in their hands, whether it's a card, a sticker, a note, a little something that makes them smile. And I hope it can do the same for you and the people you care about.

My husband and I have been lucky enough to visit Japan many times, and with each trip we fell a little more in love with Japanese stationery. The quality, the thoughtful design, the tiny details you only notice up close - it all makes writing feel like a small joy. So we've chosen each piece in our shop ourselves, hoping to share a bit of that joy with you.

My husband has been by my side from the very start, cheering me on, helping choose our collection, and packing orders with me at our living room table. We're a small shop, and every order is picked and packed by hand with care.
